One of the best ...Completely agree on LA day/night. One of the best movies I ever saw that got the LA at night scene right: colors, sound, mood -- the whole package was, Into The Night with Jeff Goldblum and Michelle Pfeiffer. I mean the movie was a bit above average, but the camera captured the LAX, Venice and Downtown areas as they are at night perfectly. There's a special subdued, quiet, slow motion, dreamy quality to LA at night that no other flick has managed to get onto the screen. And you're right about those backdoors opening onto the midnight circus of dr.lao sometimes. Nice to see someone else who thinks the IS a there, there in LA.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
